Professional profile
Head of PMO with experience building a project management office end to end in a full-cycle IT company. Built the PMO from scratch in 4–5 months and cut new-project kick-off 5–7× — from 1.5 weeks to 1–2 days.
Managed a portfolio of up to 7 parallel projects (4 active on average) with budgets from ₽1.5M to ₽14M and cross-functional teams of 6–7 people; 3 project managers reporting to me. Raised the share of projects delivered on the agreed date to 70%.
Launched products from zero to production across 10+ domains: B2B and B2C e-commerce, AI/LLM, LegalTech, IoT and robotics, GameDev, government and corporate platforms. A separate focus — bringing AI into PMO processes.
Key competencies
Portfolio, governance and team: PMO build-up from scratch, playbooks, portfolio prioritization, resource planning, a unified status model and end-to-end workflow, artifact standardization, audits, knowledge management; leading a PM team, mentoring, onboarding, escalations.
Delivery and control: timelines, budgets and scope, risk management (register, mitigation, escalation matrix), change management, portfolio reporting, delivery quality control.
Business analysis: BRD, FRD, user stories, acceptance criteria, business processes and scenarios, specs, integrations and APIs, product success metrics.
AI and automation: LLM assistants in project processes, custom AI scenarios for playbooks, integration via MCP, documentation and reporting automation, team training, safe data-handling rules.
Experience
Joined as a Project Manager in a company with no formalized processes; grew into Head of PMO and built the project management system from scratch.
- Built the PMO from scratch in 4–5 months: designed and rolled out 3 playbooks — project kick-off, team onboarding, delivery standards — adopted as the company standard.
- Designed a unified status model and an end-to-end workflow (backlog → analysis → development → review → QA → release) and configured it in the PMS (project management system) with automations for every team.
- Standardized artifacts (project card, roadmap, risk register, environment checklists), introduced project-discipline audits and a knowledge management system.
- Managed a portfolio of up to 7 parallel projects (4 active on average) with ₽1.5–14M budgets and teams of 6–7: 2 backend, 2 frontend, an analyst, QA.
- Set up risk management so that in 3 years not a single schedule shift came as a surprise to a client: risks were escalated early together with a mitigation plan.
- Led a team of 3 project managers; introduced a single portfolio reporting format for management and clients, acting as the escalation point between client, development, QA and DevOps.
- Ran 2–3 projects at a time as PM and BA: maintenance and development of a corporate project management system, custom plugins built to client requirements.
- Gathered and formalized requirements: specs, user scenarios, acceptance criteria; agreed scope and timelines.
- Coordinated the client, development and QA in a distributed team across several time zones.
AI in project management
LLMs are built into the playbooks rather than used as a “smart search”: part of the PMO routine runs on AI assistants with custom scenarios built around company standards.
- A library of AI scenarios (Skills) for PMO roles — business analysis, backlog and sprints, feature testing, meeting recaps; the assistant is connected via MCP to Zoom, Google Drive, Google Calendar and Figma.
- Automated documentation and meetings: draft specs, user stories with acceptance criteria, project cards; transcript → minutes → tasks with owners and deadlines.
- LLMs on requirements and risk analysis: finding contradictions and gaps before hand-off to development, “what could go wrong” scenarios for the risk register.
- Trained the PM team and fixed the rules in a playbook: prompt templates, review criteria, client data anonymization, a ban on sending NDA artifacts to external services.
